Friday 12/3 the recount was finalized with no change to the vote. One Vote separated me from my opponent. One. Vote. It is so important that the residents of Loveland get out there and vote because every vote truly matters.
I am so grateful for the support and encouragement I received. My heart is overflowing with gratitude for those who checked in – continuously encouraging and every single person who stepped up and helped. Filling out postcards was a chore but so many of you volunteered and I am grateful. Thank you for putting up yard signs – regardless of whether you were in my ward or not. Thank for every dollar donated to my campaign. Your generosity enabled me to mobilize my campaign and educate voters.
Thank you to my husband – your support and unwavering dedication to me and the work I do for the community is without question. Thank you also to my family and friends. Family is everything to me and good friends like you are a blessing. Without all of the support we would not have come SO close.
Though this election cycle is over, the work goes on. I will continue to serve the community in every way I can. I’m not going anywhere.
I encourage you to get involved. Join a board or commission. Attend meetings. Show up. We must continue to do the work. If you have an interest, feel free to contact me – reach out. Every person has the capacity to lead and contribute. Don’t count yourself out. If not us, then who?
It has been an honor to be your candidate. Thank you 💜💜💜💜
